Story. In 2017, I made a YouTube video teaching watercolor techniques by creating this illustration. I was far from a professional, but I thought I could help others feel less intimidated. But I had a big problem. I wasn't comfortable showing my face or sharing my voice in my videos anymore. I also thought that making the anonymous video boosted my views, and I was obsessed with views. At this point, the more views I gained, the better I was doing. I used it as a measurement of success.

But I didn't know then that inspiration and creativity don't come from popularity and metrics like that; it comes from the things that make you light up.
